Join us for the Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease class. This evidence-based class is held for six weeks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at WAWM Recreation Center at 2450 S. 68th St.
You will learn how to ease the pain from arthritis while having fun. Previous students stated they lost weight and removed some of their medications. Doctors are very pleased with the results. We're sure you will be too.

Join the West Allis Police Department for the third quarter Neighborhood Partnership Meeting on Monday, Oct. 14 from 6 - 8 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers (7525 W. Greenfield Ave.). The event will take place in person, but it will also be available by livestream on the WAPD Facebook page.
Neighborhood Partnership Meetings are public meetings with the Chief of Police for the West Allis Police Department, Chief Patrick Mitchell. The meeting topics will include an update on current law enforcement issues, crime trends and challenges that impact our quality of life. There will also be a short presentation on Rodent Nuisance Education from Kevin Smith from the Southwest Suburban Health Department and Daniel Adamczyk from Code Enforcement, replacing the original presentation about our Dispatch Center.
Questions will be welcomed and addressed both in person and during the live stream.

To build our best Jack-o-Lantern display yet at Haunted Honey Creek, we’re bringing in over 100 pumpkins! Now just need YOU to help carve them!
Join us for the first annual Pumpkin Carve-a-Thon on Thursday night, Oct. 24 from 4-7 p.m. at Honey Creek Park.
We’ll provide the pumpkins, carving supplies, spooky tunes and warm beverages. You supply your carving skills!
Pumpkins will be put on display at Haunted Honey Creek on Friday, Oct. 25 from 4-9 p.m. If you wish to bring a carved pumpkin from home, you can drop it off on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 4-7 p.m. or on Friday, Oct. 25 from 2-4 p.m.
Participants are welcome to bring pre-carved pumpkins to drop off during this time (or on Friday, October 25 from 3 - 5 p.m.) for display during Haunted Honey Creek.
If you wish to pick up your pumpkin after the event, stop by from 9-9:30 p.m. after Haunted Honey Creek. Any remaining pumpkins will be donated to the Pumpkin Chunkin' event held by the WAWM Recreation Department on Oct. 31.
